Memoirs, Non-Fiction, Poetry and Stories

This group evolved out of the 2005 LaborFest writing workshop with Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. The reading was on the theme Our Working Life and Our Working Ancestors. There was also a writing exercise with the audience.

About the Venue

New College of California was an alternative institution in the Mission District known for its social-justice-oriented programs before closing in 2008.
