Keith David Cooley is a writer of fiction and memoir. He grew up in London, England and went to Abbotsfield Secondary Modern School. Later he took a degree from the University of Nottingham, the first member of his family and school to go to university. In 1981 Keith escaped the Thatcher years in England by moving to the USA, where he had to endure the Reagan years. He wrote for the computer industry later becoming an Internet entrepreneur in Silicon Valley raising several million dollars in venture capital. He retired from the computer industry in 2001 to become a full-time writer.


Keith is a member of the San Francisco LaborFest Writing Group, and has performed as a storyteller around the Bay Area. He belongs to the National Writers Union and is active in the local chapter. He lives in San Francisco but also has a home in England. Contact Keith at keith.cooley@gmail.com
